Can I see actual size on my screen?
Yes. The drawing is true scale, and the caption states the exact pixels-per-millimetre it is using, so the relative size difference between two models is always right. Absolute size is right too on a screen whose pixel density matches your browser’s reported density.
How accurate is the comparison tool?
Height, width, depth, weight, display size and resolution come from Apple’s published specifications. Corner radii, camera-module footprints, button positions and colour values are our own estimates for procedural drawing, not Apple drawings.
What's the difference between screen size and phone size?
Screen size measures the display diagonal in inches; phone size is the physical body. The iPhone 18 Pro shows why they are not the same thing: a 6.3-inch display inside a body of only 150 x 71.9 x 8.75 mm, because the bezels around it are so narrow.
Will my old iPhone case fit the new model?
Rarely, and matching dimensions are not enough on their own. The iPhone 8 and the iPhone SE (3rd gen) are both 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm, yet a case for one does not guarantee a clean fit on the other, because the camera and button cut-outs differ. Buy a case made for your exact model.
